Brendhan’s connection to the sea extends beyond the courtroom. In addition to his legal practice, he has worked as an able‑bodied seaman and tender captain on global expeditions and occasionally charters his own boat. He is admitted to practice in Louisiana and South Carolina, as well as multiple federal courts including the Fifth Circuit.
